My super macabre AU interpretation of what happened to Sam the Drummer. Because my first introduction to SPG was through aishaneko's powerpoint in which they said he “ascended reality and became a robot,” that was what I thought of when this prompt was posed. I wanted to do something with Sam turning into Hatchworth, but then I watched the remake of The Thing and it…went in that direction. 8D I incorporated bits of Crosshatch because I thought the malevolent part of him would be likely to initiate a Thing-like merge.
Last minute birthday present for my waifu, moonfox23

No? Only me?
It’s been a long while since I posted a project preview. Mostly because I was working on other SPG projects and also because I HAD TO LEARN HOW TO DRAW EVERYTHING UNSUCCESSFULLY FFFFFF.
Still kind of experimenting with how I want this part of the story to look, so sorry it looks gross.
Psst…hey…I don’t know if you all noticed or not, but….in SPG…there are hats EVERYWHERE. o_o
SO HAVE AN UNSUCCESSFUL HAT STUDY.
Thanks to trekkiebeth for taking pictures of these hats from every single angle possible.
If any of you amazing talented artists have any super secret tips on how to draw Rabbit/Spine hats (thank goodness Hatchworth’s doesn’t have any of those crazy curves and floppy brims and what have you!!), teach me your ways, oh grand masters.
